I can remember it as if it were yesterday.  It was February 10, 1980 at the Laurentian University Pool.  Every Sunday my family used to go to the pool to swim and dive and that day was no different than any other except for one thing - that was when and where I met Tim.  He caught my eye right from the start in his black speedo.  LOL  Yes I said black speedo and damn he looked real good in it too.  I tried not to let him catch me looking at him but I think he figured it out because it seems that whatever diving board or tower he was on, I was there too.  Darn good thing I was a good diver - I was sort of showing off my diving abilities on the tower and springbaord.  We finally introduced ourselves but being very shy and not very confident, I tought Tim was interested in someone else.  After swimming was over I asked my Dad if we could give Tim a ride home as it was on our way.  The rest is history. 

We started dating shortly there after.  Tim was my grade 13 graduation date and accompanied me to my athletic banquet also.  We were inseperable.  We dated for a little over a year and fell very much in love with each other.  Circumstances arose, and although we never lost that love, we went our seperate ways.

Thanks to some friends at work, in a round about way, I have them to thank for Tim and I being together today.  Never in a million years did I ever expect to be reunited with my first love, my one true love.  So here we are, heading down the alter to become husband and wife - something that we should have done 33 years ago.

For those of you who didn't catch it - we will be exchanging vows exactly 34 years to the day of the first day we met - how fitting is that.
