One morning in May, while taking on the phone, he mentioned that he had a lot to do in the month of July, specifically he said he had to “propose”. 

I didn’t respond immediately because I knew he mentioned that by mistake.

Friday, July 3rd we decided to spend our evening at the Running Hare Winery in Prince Fredrick MD.

We had a formal wine tasting and decided to stay while and share a bottle of wine.

While sitting the mosquitoes began to bite only me, so I asked him to make the trip back to the car, for the bug repellant. When he returned the wine had settled in and I was in a playful mood.

I playfully inquired about the proposal he had mentioned back in May. I may have implied a little bit of eagerness, LOL …jokingly of course.

Knowing me well, he played along and then he surprised me, when he said “wait no more” and pulled a ring box from his pocket and asked me to marry him!

July 3, 2014 was the day he proposed, a day we will never forget! 

We can't believe we’re getting married!
